Our 2.5 inch Zipper X-Pipe gives you an extended merge section compared to our standard X-Pipe without decreasing the overall volume drastically. We kept it to 3.75" wide to not cause too much backpressure. This parallel pipe configuration produces a completely different sound than our other X-Pipes. This is due to the exhaust gases merging side by side instead of being forced to merge too abruptly as they travel down the exhaust system. The Zipper X-Pipe will cancel out some of the drone that is common with mid-pipe modifications. Not only will you experience less drone, but the rasp will also improve with this style X-Pipe. When welding this product to your exhaust system, make sure to have it as close to the motor as possible. We recommend it to be placed immediately after the oil pan. This will help to amplify the specific sound that the Zipper X-Pipe will produce. It will even help to increase the exhaust scaveging effects. All of these crossover Zipper Pipes are made with the same level of detail and will feature different colors in the welds. The brackets we add, as well as the heavy overlapped welds, will make your product as strong as it gets.
